Worship

At our engineering firm, we understand that worship spaces are more than just buildings; they are sanctuaries that foster community and spiritual growth. Our team specializes in providing comprehensive MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and structural design solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of worship facilities. We prioritize creating environments that enhance the worship experience, ensuring that every aspect—from acoustics to lighting—contributes to a serene and inspiring atmosphere.

Our approach involves close collaboration with architects, leaders, and congregations to design spaces that are not only functional but also reflect the values and traditions of the community. We integrate sustainable practices into our engineering solutions, ensuring that these sacred spaces are energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. By combining innovative design with technical expertise, we strive to create worship facilities that stand the test of time, supporting both the present needs and future aspirations of the communities they serve.

Hilltop Lakes Chapel Church

Client: Crosspointe Church Architects

Location: Houston – Texas

Surface area: 19,420 SF

Located approximately two hours north of Houston, Texas, Hilltop Lakes Chapel is a thoughtfully designed 19,420 square foot education addition to the church, emphasizing both functionality and structural integrity. Our team provided comprehensive MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and structural design services, ensuring that the building meets the needs of its community while adhering to the highest standards of safety and efficiency. The two-story layout not only enhances the educational experience but also integrates seamlessly with the chapel’s existing architecture.

In our structural design, we conducted rigorous loading analyses—including wind, seismic, dead, and live loads—to ensure the building’s resilience. Detailed calculations and modeling were performed, culminating in a comprehensive engineering report that outlines the structural analysis and foundation design. Additionally, we produced an array of drawings covering everything from foundation plans to structural details, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. Our MEP design included extensive electrical layouts, mechanical ventilation systems, and plumbing networks, all tailored to the client’s specifications. Safety was a top priority, as demonstrated by our fire protection planning, which included fire life safety plans and sprinkler system designs, guaranteeing a secure environment for all who gather at Hilltop Lakes Chapel.
